Cohen Eye Institute is pleased to welcome Dr. Grant Hirschberg to our practice. Dr. Hirschberg earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University where he majored in Public Health. Before beginning his doctorate degree, he spent a year at Cohen Eye Institute as a technician and front desk receptionist. This experience was the catalyst to his passion for optometry. Dr. Hirschberg later received his doctorate degree at Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He completed various externships specializing in primary care, dry eye treatment, contact lens, and pre and postoperative management. Dr. Hirschberg’s interest lies in glaucoma, cataract management as well as myopia control. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Hirschberg enjoys watching New York sports, especially the Knicks, listening to music, and running. He loves going to the beach and playing basketball.
Dr. Hirschberg is excited to return to the Cohen Eye Institute family and treat patients in his hometown area.
