This depends on your condition and treatment plan. Some patients complete the full process within weeks; others may undergo staged procedures over a few months.

While no treatment can guarantee transplant avoidance, OZERA™ is designed to halt progression early, making it much less likely that you’ll need a transplant down the road.

Some patients still benefit from custom lenses, especially in advanced cases. However, OZERA™ often reduces the need for frequent lens changes or highly complex prescriptions.

The procedure is done with local anesthesia and is typically well tolerated. Some mild discomfort or light sensitivity may occur during healing.

Most patients begin to notice greater stability and improved clarity within weeks, with continued improvement as the cornea heals and reshapes.
